Both surfaces or single surface of Copolymer Coated Aluminum Tape with high adhesion value are coated with natural or colored (special order), additive, copolymer containing butyl acrylic acid and acrylic acid as comonomer.
Due to the special additives used in its structure, it has a higher adhesion value than the conventional copolymer coating. It is a preferred form of coating for aluminum tapes to be used especially in submarine cables.
The copolymer substrate exhibits excellent adhesion to aluminum. It can adhere to Low (LDPE) Linear Low (LLDPE), Medium (MDPE) and High (HDPE) density polyethylene. Aluminum is of high conductivity electrical quality and has excellent forming characteristics.
