SUSTAINABILITY

As a Silver Member of ECOVADIS,

We are committed to ongoing sustainability improvements and actively working to increase our sustainability score. We strive to ensure that our practices are ethical and responsible, with an eye toward mitigating environmental and social risks. We have implemented various initiatives to reduce our ecological impacts, such as energy efficiency measures, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing. By taking these steps, we are demonstrating our dedication to sustainability and creating a positive impact in our industry.

Future Plans:

We are aiming to generate our own energy from solar sources within two years. According to calculations, it appears that our current roof space can cover 50% of the energy requirements. To achieve this goal, we intend to install a solar power system that will produce twice the amount of energy we need and also feed surplus power into the grid for extra income.

We are aware of the importance of using our resources efficiently!

WATER USAGE

NATURAL GAS USAGE

Water Usage: Water in our facility is used only for domestic purposes. Sensor faucets are preferred to prevent unnecessary water consumption in sinks. There is no industrial wastewater. We have a closed-circuit chiller system.

Electricity Usage: Our roof is designed to benefit from daylight. Unnecessary lighting is prevented by sensors. 95% of our machines and all of the forklifts work with electrical energy.

Natural Gas Usage: Our furnaces working with natural gas are designed to prevent heat loss.

We make a difference with Waste Management

Hazardous and non-hazardous wastes are separated according to their type in the area where they
are generated and stored in the relevant temporary waste storage area.
Our waste site has been designed in accordance with the rules of the local authority and separate compartments have been created for all types of waste.
All our hazardous wastes are disposed of by licensed companies and used for energy production.
Employees are periodically given training on waste.
All of our plastic waste generated as a result of production is 100% recyclable.
We are recycling and reusing in-house the excess film from the unused trim edges on both sides of the bobbin and the remaining meters from the bottom of the bobbin.
All of our aluminum scraps are collected separately, with and without Film coating.
All collected scraps are delivered to licensed companies for recycling.
In 2022, we sent 7% of the total aluminum we consumed to casting and ensured its reuse in our facility.
